Mandatory internship for 6 months with approx. 25-30 hours/week from 01/01/2025

WHAT ARE YOUR TASKS?

  • Supporting the team in ongoing energy and climate projects with partners in Germany and in the EU member states (special focus on the project Innovation! Women. Energy .)
  • Organizing and preparing events and workshops for target group networking, on gender equality and energy
  • Cross-border qualitative and quantitative research activities and analyzes in the field of energy supply, energy poverty, socially just energy transition, gender-disaggregated data
  • Conducting and supporting semi-structured interviews with various actors
  • Supporting the creation of publications/media content/videos in German and English
  • Assisting with communication and networking work, assisting with the planning and implementation of (social media) campaigns on energy and climate topics (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)
  • Creating and assisting with videos, articles, newsletters and press releases
  • General administrative and organizational tasks

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

  • Interest/training/studies in the field of energy, climate, gender, politics, communication/journalism, anthropology or other relevant areas
  • Creativity, hands-on mentality and organizational skills
  • Interest in sustainability issues and identification with our visions and goals
  • Ability to work in a team and flexibility
  • Good German and English language skills, social media knowledge
  • Desirable, but not required, would be experience with political work (eg in political institutions, associations, NGOs, collectives, etc.) and initial knowledge in the field of gender
  • Desirable, but not required, experience in conducting workshops/trainings and in qualitative (political) analysis
