There is a lot to be said for your move to Encavis – but your expertise and experience speak for themselves! What can you expect with us? You will play an important role in supporting the deal teams during the entire transaction process, identify national and international investment opportunities in the field of renewable energies and assist in various processes around due diligence and negotiations – always in close dialogue with other departments.
Your Tasks
- Supporting deal teams during the entire transaction process from asset sourcing to financial close
- Screening and identifying national and international RE investment opportunities (RTB/COD/Operating)
- Building DCF models for wind onshore and solar PV assets
- Assisting commercial, technical, legal and tax due diligence processes
- Supporting preparation for SPA negotiations
- Preparing internal and external committee decision papers
- Assisting and steering internal processes (e.g. KYC & AML checks)
- Transferring completed projects to the Structuring or Operations Team
- Reporting to the Team Lead Investment Transactions
Your Profile
- Passion for investing, financial modelling, and renewable energies
- Degree in Business, Finance or Engineering, possibly complemented by an MBA or CFA
- Relevant internship or work experience in Investment Management, Finance, M&A, Asset Management or Project Development
- Solid quantitative capabilities and analytical skills with a relentless attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German are mandatory, strong command of additional languages highly preferable
- Ability to work independently, under pressure and to meet deadlines
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel)
